Arlene Petersen, CPCU, AU

Arlene received her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 1985 and also holds the designation of Associate in Underwriting. She has more than 40 years in the property and casualty field. Before joining T.E. Brennan Company in 2000, she was a senior account underwriter with a major insurance company for 12 years. Prior to that, she was a master production underwriter at an insurance carrier involved in all lines of coverage. Arlene does expert witness work for attorneys and is a property and casualty risk management consultant. She is the owner and President of the firm and has served in that capacity since 2005.

Arlene served on the local CPCU Board of Directors and has served in the positions of Chapter Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President. She has also served on the CPCU National Board of Governors as well as the CPCU National Publications Committee. She is a member of the Society of Risk Management Consultants.

From 2004 to 2014, Arlene was a guest lecturer on insurance for the School District Administrators’ MBA class at Cardinal Stritch University. She has also published articles on risk management in several magazines as well as teaching other classes and participating in various panel discussions.
